holiday cheer

Hello! Hope everyone is having a wonderful break and is enjoying the holidays.

I just thought I’d write a small post in between the last part in my winter mini-blog-series and the next entry (it should be up soon; hopefully, I will take photographs of the trends I’ll be blogging about and post those along with the rest of the entry, so stay tuned!)

Anyways, instead of us giving you tips or sharing our reactions to things, I thought it would be neat to get some input from you guys. My question for you is, what did you wear to holiday parties (if you had one, that is… or, feel free to tell us about what you wore just lounging around!), or plan to? New Year’s? We’d love to hear how everyone is Being fashionable! (excuse the corny attempt at a clever play on words) So leave a comment describing your outfit or link a picture!

As for myself, I was dragged to the annual Christmas Eve party my family goes to, where all my extended family is there and I know maybe an eighth of the people, tops. I wore skinny jeans in a dark gray wash from the Gap with a black scoopneck silk blouse (incidentally, also from the Gap; see left for picture) tucked in with a silver belt, gold Coach flats, & a double braided gold BCBG headband. (Hey, might as well look cute if you’re going to be bored to death!) I normally don’t mix metals, but forgetting to pack my silver flats from school (oops) forced me to be a little adventurous. If I can I’ll try and upload a photo of the whole outfit.

Unfortunately I still have no idea what I’m wearing for New Year’s… which is in 5 days! I can’t believe how fast this year has gone by.
